These terms and conditions aim to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the company and users in using the Korean language learning service (hereinafter referred to as the 'Service') provided by DOTORE (hereinafter referred to as the 'Company').
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms and conditions aim to define the conditions and procedures for using all services provided by the Company, as well as the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between the Company and its members.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The definitions of terms used in these terms and conditions are as follows.
- 'Service' refers to all online content and related services related to Korean language learning provided by the Company.
- 'Member' refers to a person who has concluded a service use contract with the Company and has been assigned a user ID.
- 'ID' refers to a combination of letters and numbers determined by the member and approved by the Company for identification of the member and use of the service.
- 'Password' refers to a combination of letters and numbers determined by the member to verify that the member matches the assigned ID and to protect the member's personal information.
Article 3 (Display and Revision of Terms)
① The Company posts the content of these terms and conditions on the initial screen of the service so that members can easily understand them.
② The Company may revise the terms and conditions if necessary, and the revised terms and conditions shall take effect by being posted within the service.
③ Members may request withdrawal if they do not agree to the revised terms and conditions, and if they continue to use the service, they are deemed to have agreed to the revision of the terms and conditions.
Article 4 (Provision and Change of Service)
① The Company provides the following services.
- Korean language learning VOD content
- TOPIK exam preparation tests
- Individual learning progress management
- Other education-related services determined by the Company
② The Company may change the content and provision method of the service, and in this case, the changes will be announced in advance.
Article 5 (Service Fee)
① Some of the services provided by the Company may be provided for a fee.
② The usage conditions, payment methods, etc. of paid services are posted on the relevant service screen or announced separately.
③ When a member uses a paid service, the member must pay the fee in the method determined by the Company.
Article 6 (Member Obligations)
① Members shall not engage in the following activities.
- Act of impersonating another person's information or registering false information
- Act of reproducing or distributing information obtained using the service provided by the Company without the prior consent of the Company
- Act of infringing on the intellectual property rights of the Company and third parties
- Act of distributing information that violates public order and morals
- Other acts that violate relevant laws and regulations
Article 7 (Attribution of Copyright)
① The copyright and other intellectual property rights for the services and content provided by the Company belong to the Company.
② Members shall not use information obtained through the service provided by the Company for profit purposes without the prior consent of the Company by reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods, or allow third parties to use it.
Article 8 (Termination of Contract and Usage Restrictions)
① Members may request membership withdrawal at any time through the settings menu within the service, and the Company will process it in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
② The Company may restrict, suspend, or terminate membership without prior notice if the member acts in violation of these terms and conditions.
Article 9 (Disclaimer)
① The Company is not responsible for service interruptions due to force majeure reasons such as natural disasters, war, and service suspension by period communications service providers.
② The Company is not responsible for service usage obstacles due to members' fault.
③ The Company does not guarantee the learning effects or improvement in test scores that members expect from using the service.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
① These terms and conditions are interpreted by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes between the Company and members are filed with the courts of the Republic of Korea.
